AC Milan want Aquilani back after releasing previous Arsenal star Flamini

AC Milan are ready to recreate their tries to sign Liverpool midfielder Alberto Aquilani after letting go former Arsenal ace Mathieu Flamini on a free transfer.
The Italian giants got out the plug on talks to extend the out-of-contract Frenchman's San Siro stay after he failed to accord terms on a new two-year deal.
Flamini left the Emirates for Milan on free in 2008 and his departure will alarm a host of Premier League wooers.
But Milan manager Massimiliano Allergri is eager to welcome back uncertain Anfield star Aquilani as Flamini's replacement.
