The agent of Milan target Francesco Acerbi has rejected talk that Inter and Juventus have also made a move for the defender.
I’ve heard these reports too, but neither Inter nor Juventus have made contact with me,” Andrea Cattoli told Tutto Juve.
Suggestions that an auction is about to start for his services seems a little exaggerated to me. A lot of clubs like him, but there won’t be a bidding war.
The 23-year-old has been a revelation at Chievo in the second half of this season and talks with Milan have already taken place.
He’s had an excellent campaign where he has proved to be one of the best Italian defenders around, the representative added.
Milan have made a move and it would be fantastic to play for the Rossoneri, but his co-ownership status between Chievo and Genoa needs resolving first.
Acerbi, formerly of Reggina, scored one goal in 17 Serie A appearances this season. He is still just 23-years-old.
